I hope you know that regardless of all the joshing you have had to contend with for do long, the MCC lads really appreciate all your organisational efforts over the many years of outdoor fun, camaraderie, beer (& scones) etc .....even despite the odd hiccup such as the never to be forgotten triple peaks of Auchterhouse outing! A reminder to Gordon on how we learned to avoid blisters on those wee Scout hikes. Every morning, two pairs of socks, talc on feet, talc on first socks, talc on second socks and in boots. Blisters are caused by friction, talc is a dry lubricant. Good luck to you and the others for this walk, supporting a great cause.
