Epic ‘Band of Brothers’ charity walk planned in honour of tragic Dundee cancer grandad

An international team of walkers – whose ages add up to 1000 years – is taking on the challenge in honour of local man Stuart Fraser.

An international ‘Band of Brothers’ is taking on an epic charity walk in honour of a tragic Dundee grandad who died of cancer.

Stuart Fraser died last year aged 67 after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The popular cricket and rugby fan was also a fiercely loyal Dundee FC supporter.

The engineer was married to wife Anne and had two daughters, Lindsey and Ellen. Lindsey had a wee boy, Charlie, in 2020.

Before he passed away, his younger brother, Garry, and a number of his closest friends decided to walk the West Highland Way for Prostate Cancer UK.
