Ian’s been researching the options and it looks like the West Highland Way – a 96 mile, 6 day trek – is the favourite. Not exactly what I was expecting. It’s a heck of a lot more ambitious than a day’s wander up Glen Doll. There’s a groundswell of enthusiasm although it’s likely to be too difficult for some. We’ll have to see if it’s possible to just do a day or two.
Having said that, it’s a walk that many of us have harboured thoughts about doing. It’s unlikely that we’ll have the opportunity again, so why not? Let’s see if it’s a goer…
